Advert Description
My Sweet Molly Malone is a 15.3hh 11-year-old Irish cob (We believe she has some shire in her) She came over from Ireland in October 2023 (bought unseen) however I did see videos of her being ridden etc , now here it's clear we need to re-educate her (definitely nothing serious or dangerous) she was clearly abused and was petrified of people (*especially men!*) After building up her trust we have re-started her education, Lunging, long reining, mounting, short positive walks being ridden (we haven't left the yard yet)
Due to my depression/weight gain it is not fair on her to carry me so with that being said I am looking for an *experienced* part or full rider/loaner of around 14 stone to 15 stone in weight, She is a strong girl so no teenagers or very small adults.
Molly is currently having 2 lessons a week with my riding instructor which the potential loaner can take advantage of if they so wish. She is VERY green (Bless her!) so she needs a firm but loving approach to get the best out of her.
At present Molly will be a happy hacker, due to her extreme past trauma she is NOT suitable for beach rides, clinics, shows etc as this would simply set her back and we will lose all the hard work we have put in.
Our yard has a grass exercise/schooling paddock of around 50x40 , Bridlepath is next door to us with nice hacking
