An antique pair of Rogers & Loach Ltd scales. It has "to weigh 2 lbs" & "Birmingham Class C" embossed across the top & it's name on the other side of the main beam.
A bit scruffy with that shabby chic patina. One tray is steel & the other is a heavy brass, the rest of the scales is cast iron. Other than the brass counter weight. The scale has a great look for your kitchen or cafe.
It's approx 16" tall to the top of its pointer.
It's in expected condition for an item of this age & nature. The brass pan is not the correct one, as I believe it should really be an oval type lighter copper pan. These do frequently come up at antique markets.
