Quality CROYDEX chrome bathroom set, consisting of a double towel rail, towel ring and toilet roll holder. All fittings are in great condition. Purchased, fitted, then used for a very short time and then it was decided by ‘her who knows best’ that the “traditional” style wasn’t right, so all were removed then wrapped in bubble wrap and put away safely in my store room some time ago. As you can see from the photos the condition of everything is excellent. The towel rail has spring ends both ends, so the tape measure length showing when fitted would be slightly less. The toilet roll holder has one end fixed. The common method of wall fitting for all items is a concealed suitable screw (not supplied) into a suitable wall plug (not supplied) through the centre of each of the bases. The fitting then screws by hand into the base. All items are solid and certainly heavier and far better quality than the vast majority of similar items found at the DIY chains. Note these are chromed brass fittings, not the much lighter and cheaper inferior zinc alloy types! The styles have changed but the current CROYDEX fittings available today, with prices, can be found online for comparison. I estimate to buy like-for-like fittings today would cost about (dependent upon source) £120 for the set! Collection from Warsash, near Southampton close to M27 / J9 would be my preferred option to sell, but I WILL POST if someone wants for £10 extra.
