My button-quail hen recovered from egg drop then gave it to her companion who has just died. I've got one lonely, little hen quail now, who lays good, strong eggs but needs company. Has anyone got a button-quail hen that either has egg drop or has recovered from it? I won't be breeding from her, only eating the eggs if they form OK. Thanks so much if you've got one you don't want because of the risk of giving the illness to the others or passing the virus on through eggs or chicks. One possibility would be if you're prepared to take her instead. But please don't put her in with a healthy bird!
