Early 19th Century Hand Blown Glass Wasp Catcher.

Syrup water is put inside & the wasps would fly up from underneath & get stuck in the liquid.

Clear free blown English wasp trap circa 1900, with a bulbous body & form. Rounded shoulders swooping into short neck.

In expected used condition for an item of this age & nature. There’s damage around the top & rim, with small chips & nibbles. Odd feet might also have a nibble, which is unnoticeable unless you run your fingers over them.

Approx 6 1/4" tall.

I've spotted a few between around £125 to £195.
