A very honest advert:
I am looking for an experienced rider (preferably 18+) 2-3 times a week (happy for more days if wanted) due to me being away at uni. A contract will be written and signed, must be insured before you hack him anywhere!! Can be opportunities to take him out and about once you fully know him but he will only travel in a lorry. He is on full livery so minimal chores to be done - just the normal duties such as sweeping any mess/hair mountains or droppings he’s left behind. Financial contribution will be discussed ??
Charlie aka bean ??is not for any novice! He is young, cheeky and he is very green, he loves his hacking but he can be nappy, once he’s been told he’s good as gold so you need to be firm. He is very green in the school - nothing naughty he just needs time and patience to get him in the right direction as I haven’t done much schooling with him… He can be bargy on the ground and has been known to drag if he knows he can get away with it so again must be firm and confident with him.
Although he has his moments, he is the most loving little chap ever with a cracking personality?? he loves to be groomed and pampered and will stand all day if he wanted to ????, I am not looking for someone that just wants to ride every time Charlie is seen to… must be someone that will spend a day pampering him and treating him as if he was your own, not someone just treating him like a machine.
Charlie is good for the farrier and stands like gentleman, he is good to clip apart from his back legs, up to date with all vaccinations, can be fidgety when bathing but only tends to dance around (doesn’t rear or kick etc), good to catch, good to tack up, can be difficult to pick feet out but again with confidence and being firm he will soon just let you crack on.
