Advert Description

1891.
This fabulous, quality, antique Singer machine has been adapted to electric, so no hand cranking.
It has a working light too.
There is a little beading on the box lid missing but it does not effect the stability and usefulness of locking over the machine. The machine works as well as it did when new.
It even has the original instruction booklet and spare needles.
Been in my family for generations.
My great grandmother had it and passed it to my grandmother who was a seamstress. My mother had it but didn’t use it even after it was adapted at that time to electric.
I have used it a lot over the years and started by making patchwork, with long fringes, shoulder bags (shows how robust it is) and I’m now 70 years old.
Grand old piece of workable memorabilia.
Selling because no-one to pass it on to.
It needs a loving new owner. Can deliver locally for free or collect St Leonard’s.
Thanks for looking.
