- Clear display; illuminated when radio is on mains, or for 12 seconds whilst on batteries
- Telescopic antenna

- Line out socket (enables radio to be connected to external amplifier without cutting the radio's speaker)

- PausePlus system, which lets you pause whatever you're listening to for up to 30 minutes
