Full history known, he had a short racing career and was last raced in 2013. He has had two homes his whole life and is low mileage.
He is a very gentle and loving type of horse that is straightforward and very laid back. He goes well in the school with a big stride and lovely floaty paces. He knows basic lateral work including shoulder in/out, leg yielding. He's a brilliant safe hack alone or in company, he’s better in company as I don’t usually hack on my own. Excellent in traffic and is used to bikes, dogs, children etc.
With me he has been out to multiple fun days, cross country hires, the beach, unaffiliated dressage shows and even done an advertisement for Harry Hall!
Well behaved in open spaces he will not get silly or strong and you can go for a canter or good gallop with brakes. He likes jumping and has given me confidence as I prefer dressage and just do a bit of jumping for fun. He can be forward at times so he would not suit a complete novice. He would suit someone looking for a slightly older horse who has seen and done everything. Would suit someone wanting to hack out or compete at lower level.
He is a big chunky type with plenty of bone and clean legs. Fully shod with really good feet. Easy to catch and has lovely stable manners.
He has impeccable ground manners and stands to be tacked up and groomed, and I can clip him without even putting his headcollar on. However, he does not tie up outside of the stable and will pull back if unsettled. I have always stood with him while being shod or bathed etc so this has never been an issue for me. Good to load, travel, clip and shoe, no vices.
Can deliver. Can come with his tack.
Up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming, farrier. RoR eligible. Open to any vetting.
