Advert Description
Largest slate clock I have ever seen, at a massive 20 inches tall by 19 inches wide by 6 inches deep (approx.), weighing in excess of 25kg – possibly by quite a lot! As a bonus, it keeps time perfectly! You probably know most slate clocks were presentation clocks and as such their works – never of the best – are difficult to level, start and need frequent winding and adjustment. With a quartz movement, you get the advantage of perfect time-keeping and no chimes in an impressive talking point of a mantle clock. This clock surround is in very good order (see the photos) with no chips or pieces missing. No presentation plaque. Similar clock with original works for sale on Ebay for £400, I know which one I prefer..... Please see photographs which forms part of the description. Collection only from Bispham
