Advert Description

Stylish clockwork Waterbury Wall Clock in the style of the 1880's made in Connecticut, USA, which needs a slight repair which is nonetheless beyond me. Similar working clocks on Ebay range from £300-£600, plus duty and postage. Complete, last serviced 1990. The repair needed is to the locking hook for the time spring which is broken, and means it cannot be wound up even though the spring is good. The identical chiming spring and lock is good. Mahogany wood mounting with mother-of-pearl inlay. Large bezel and glass cover. Fretwork in good condition. Some slight damage to clock face, see pictures. Measures 27 inches tall by 16 inches diameter by 4 inches deep, approx.. Pendulum included, no key - but standard size. Note the bell chime winding is clockwise, but the clock is counter-clockwise Please see photographs which form part of the description. Collection only from Bispham
