SCALE MODEL BUS 1946 Crosville Bristol L6A

This excellent condition 1:76mm scale Bristol L6A of 1946 ECW bodywork is typical of the reliable and durable vehicles operated by Crosville around Merseyside and North Wales when war-weary citizens were tired of austerity and were keen to travel to holiday destinations that had been denied to them during the years of conflict, although rationing would continue into the early 1950s.

Its destination display is LIVERPOOL CAERNARVON and it recalls a time when such dependable vehicles were the only means of transport for the vast majority of the population.
