Stunning 14.2, 8yo
black Welsh part bred.
Sol ( takota son of the sea) is sadly now looking for a new home. He’s not getting the attention and time he deserves and he’s too good to be wasted.
He’s forward going so requires a confident rider however he is always snaffle mouthed. He loves jumping and is not phased by fillers. He would make a nice working hunter pony or he’s brave enough to event.
He’s great to hack but does prefer to be at the front. He’s seen farm machinery, dogs, fishermen, he even ended up in the middle of a 5k run! Often hacks over bridges with canal boats underneath.
He’s got a huge character and will play with everything. He’s never shown any nastiness. He does need a small amount of sedalin to be clipped (he’s only ever been clipped twice) he is up to date with vacs, farrier, physio, dentist (does need sedating)
He has been XC schooling and on farm rides (with previous owner) to the gallops, showing and jumping. All of which he was well behaved.
He does not travel well on his own and with that he will have to be picked up with a companion or happy to drop him off within a reasonable distance. He has travelled in a 3.5ton with us fine with another horse. Was told he traveld well in a trailer with previous owner however we have not travelled him in one so can not confirm. This is reflected in his price.
Happy to live out or stabled with daily turnout. He’s a sensitive boy with a heart of gold and he tries his hardest to please. He has jumped round 70/80cm with ease and scope to go higher but schooling between the fences has been the main focus up to now.
He is a quality pony and will go very far in the right hands. He is very special to us so homes will be vetted and only the best of homes need apply.
