6x Black Jersey Giant Hatching Eggs
Our Black Jersey Giants are a lovely docile breed, great temperament, mix well. All our chickens are fed a blend of layers pellets, grain, grass and vegetable peelings. Our breeding groups are unrelated and roam free range, as a group.
We only select the freshest eggs, eggs are handled with care and go from laying box to pointy side down.
We turn our eggs twice daily.
When you receive your hatching eggs, keep them pointy side down and allow them to rest for at least 24 hours. Eggs should be stored in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.
We only post on Monday to Thursday to avoid eggs being caught up in the postal system over the weekend. Once we have posted the eggs First Class with Royal Mail, we can do no more and we can only hope the eggs are not too shaken up during transition, as this does effect fertility.
All our eggs have been candled and tested for fertility recently and we hatch our own throughout the year. If you are interested in buying chicks, let us know and we will let you know what we have.
We charge £7.50 for six eggs which includes the cost of postage and packaging. For each additional 6 eggs you would like, we just charge for the packaging (at cost) so it's £1.50 / additional six eggs.
This keeps your cost down and is worth you knowing.
Below I have listed the prices of some of our other breeds based on the price / egg, this means if you want 3 eggs of one breed, 2 of another and 1 of another, we can do that. We would recommend tallying up to 6 each time as each box unit holds 6 eggs.
We do have additional breeds that will become available in due course.
