Advert Description
Project horse. Sad sale of my 16hh ISH gelding. 2007 but don't put that off. Bought as a happy hacker but he is a spooker and worries with bigger traffic and motorcycle. Better when off the main road but due to us having no bridleways and have to ride in the main fast road to get to the lanes he just isn't the horse for me.
When in regular work he is better and when ridden forward. Does hack in groups (ridden with 2 others) and on own but more spooky. Need to ride him forward and confidently. He takes confidence from his rider.
Been on a fun ride, he was better and less spooky. Can be strong cantering in field.
Enjoys time in the school. He is a real trier and wants to please. Enjoys jumping, goes at the riders pace.
Good to handle in field out 24/7 with one other gelding good in the yard stands to be groomed and tacked up. We haven't stables him but can't see a problem. Very good to clip doesn't need tying up, almost falls asleep. Great to shoe. Sedated to have teeth done but that is how our vet does dental work.
Hasn't done a lot in the last 7 months due to me being out of action. My husband and has been riding once a week and other than being more spooky has been ok. So being sold from field.
Never hunted him but feel this would suit him well as he loves a busy environment.
Due to returning from a lesson in the trailer in gale force winds he has become worried travelling. But again he is being sold as a project and if you have a school and off road hacking he will be great for a confident rider. I will be making a massive loss on him so pleased be kind.
