Skye is sweet in the stable , stands to be bathed , groomed etc. Turns out with mares and geldings and is always good to catch. Stands well for the farrier and is good to clip. Loads and travels without question and is a lovely genuine mare to own.
Skye is a very forward mare , it is very much her way and that’s that! She does not buck , rear , nor bolt. She is super sane and sensible but she is super forward, she’s always in a hurry. She will work on the bridle with certain riders but I wouldn’t bother enter any dressage tests , I don’t think she understands the walking part. However , this said … she will hack out in any traffic, alone or in company, come to any jump / hedge / gate and one million percent is going to jump for you!! She is as bold as they come in all aspects of life. She’s a super forgiving mare when it comes to jumping, she’s not offended if you miss her , just point, shoot, and over she goes!! If you like a buzzy, forward horse then this mare is your dream!! She is totally vice free, just the definition of a mare that is so keen and willing to do any job you ask!
Skye has jumped Sj and Xc at riding club level, hunted , team chased , fun rides , beach rides, and plenty of hacking! She is a super fun , experienced mare waiting to take her next jockey on some adventures this summer!!
