Our daughter has grown and is now riding a bigger bike so we are selling her blue Beinn 24.
Sadly, Islabike are closing shop, so this is a really good chance to get the original kids’ geometry bike.
Chatting to a cyclist friend of mine who does cycle training with kids and sees plenty of kids’ bikes (Frog, Wiggins etc), she still rates Islabikes as being tops, which is the reason we’ve always had them.
I am an avid road cyclist and I service all my bikes, so the Beinn 24 has been fully serviced, cleaned and re-lubed, with all new cables and brake-pads.
The chain has plenty of life left in it and apart from some cosmetic scratches on the frame from rubbing being locked up at school and when we cycled out shopping, the bike has many, many years of good-quality life left.
The bike was bought new from Islabike, has always been stored indoors, and has been cleaned and serviced regularly (done whenever I was doing my road bikes, which is often!).
As seen in the pics, it comes with the mudguards (which are a must for the UK!) and bottle-cage.
