Bear is
well socialised and super friendly, always chasing everyone down for love and hugs in the field and a constant companion while poo picking.
Vaccinated,
microchipped, and
wormed.
He has lived out all winter rugged with his mum, brother and another adult mare and gelding with no issues.
He was weaned 7th April 2023 and is now fully independent of mum happily eating hay, haylage and solid food.
Due to being born very late in the year last year and it being such a hideous winter, he's not had the same level of handling we'd normally have with our babies at this age but he can be caught, tied up and he'll walk out. He loves to be groomed generally but
is still a little fidgety with legs. Although still a little jumpy at times, he's working well on general desensitisation. Now the sun is almost out he is getting a lot more attention so this will only get better before he's sold.
Sire is 'Dejavue' a fully registered English bred Arab who has a fantastic temperament that he passes to his foals (Flea bitten grey in pictures). He has competed at Eventing and jumping with exceptional capability. Many of his older foals are very capable jumpers with a lovely movement and presence. Adding the Arab quality and flare to everything he's mixed with.
Bear's dam is Polo, a 15hh Connemara x Apollosa who is a very calm and sweet mare, providing the foundations for a great all round, versatile horse.
Both parents are at home and can be seen, fussed and fed liberal amounts of treats. We also have nine y/o and two y/o half brothers and three y/o half sister (all from Devajue) that can be seen (younger 2 are also advertised for sale).
He can be castrated before leaving at buyers cost if preferred.
