Blackberry??
2year old, 12.1/2 cob gelding
BlackBerry is the quietest youngster I have ever seen, quite literally just a overgrown dog??
Blackberry will follow you around, always trying to get as many cuddles as possible and absolutely loves a groom. He is very well handled and has amazing ground manners, he walks perfect on a head collar and when you stop he will stop. When going through a gate or stable door he will wait for you to go first and then follow. He is a very chilled out boy who would be absolutely perfect for a loving family or mother daughter share?? He is a proper traditional cob and from what I have seen when he’s playing in the field he has a beautiful trot and canter. Blackberry has done some desensitising work, such as walking over tarpaulin and having it on his back etc and was not bothered in the slightest. He has also had a saddle pad and roller on just to see how he would be with it and again wasn’t interested. He is also used to dogs and his field is directly next to a busy main road so he is also used to all sorts of traffic such as busses, lorry’s, tractors ??
He is good for the farrier when in a stable but in a open space like a field he does try to see what he can get away with but haven’t tried him in a open space for a while so this might of improved.
He is perfect when travelling and to load.
He does have a very slight heart murmur which does not effect him in any way and the vets have said this may improve as he matures and gets older but this has been taken into consideration when thinking about how much I’m asking for him.
He’s Passported and his vaccinations and feet are up to date??
