Advert Description
Please feel free to make an offer.
A Signalling Unit Torch, which has a type of Morse Code key to signal your message through flashing the light. I don't know if it's Military, Naval or RAF, as the colour is a sort of Naval or RAF grey. I believe it to be around WW2 but please do your own research, as I haven't been able to find out much. It has the military Broad Arrow stamp & says;
"AP 16001".
The plate on the side says;
"Santon Limited,
Somerton Works, Newport. Mon.
Signalling Unit"
In expected used condition for an item of this age & nature. There's some minor surface rust that will easily come off & there's expected bits of paint missing. It's in "as found" condition. The bulb’s missing & I don't have one or any Batteries, so it's sold as seen, however, the electrical terminal springs & brass clip look clean & not corroded.
It would make a nice addition to an RAF, Naval or Military collection.
Approx 10 1/4" long at its longest points.
Please study the images, as they also form part of the description & please do your own research.
Can post at extra cost. Postage includes being signed for.
