Sad sale of much loved, handsome, up to weight 12.2hh, 10 year old Welsh cross cob gelding. Genuine and kind mother/child share type family pony bought 6 years ago for my son (then aged 6) who was on the lead rein. After a few years of him doing fun rides, gymkhanas, hacking and hunting, he decided to take up mountain biking instead! As a small adult, I have always ridden him as well and so I kept him for me to lead my daughter from. He’s a happy hacker, great to lead from and accompany children but also hacks alone. I’ve hunted him a couple of times with my daughter alongside and done a bit of casual jumping. He’s good for the farrier (great unshod feet), to load and travel, in traffic and open spaces, catch and clip, no vices. A good doer and really easy to keep, happy to be ridden regularly or left for weeks. Vaccinated, recently had teeth done and wormed. I had merrily been thinking he would be my daughter’s next pony, but she is into mounted games, which he is sadly not the stamp for! Must go to an excellent home only.
