Rustic solid wood dining table from Mexico. From researching it I’m fairly sure it’s pine or cedar but I’m not certain.
The person I bought it from said it had been in their Dad’s house since he lived there, so make of that what you will! It’s certainly quite aged as some of the leg-to-table screws are missing (which is how it came to me) but hasn’t wobbled once in the two years I’ve had it and frankly it’s so sturdy I’m sure it would survive a rocket going off next to it.
The surface is for sure a little worn but comes up great with an oil rub every now and then. It has natural knots left in the wood so it is intentionally uneven.
I’m so sad to part with it because the wood is gloriously thick and it feels like such a happy table! But it’s just too big for my flat.
