PLEASE NOTE THIS VEHICLE HAS A GVW OF 3850KGS AND AS SUCH YOU NEED TO HAVE CATEGORY C1 ON YOUR DRIVING LICENCE TO LEGALLY DRIVE IT.

New MOT expires 9th April 2025. There were 7 advisories on the MOT and we have carried out 5 of these leaving just 2 very minor advisories. The windscreen has some very light marks on it from the windscreen wipers scratching. We cannot warrant replacing the windscreen on this age of van for such a minor thing (windscreen probably costs £1500+!). Also one brake disc on the inside has minor pitting/scoring certainly nowhere near bad enough to start replacing discs and pads.

There is one other thing we have discovered with the vehicle. Originally when new it had blower fans in front cab and rear habitation area blowing hot/cold air when the vehicle was running (run by the water/radiator system under the bonnet) at some point the front cab heating has been bypassed under the bonnet. Our opinion is that the heater matrix for the front cab is damaged and has been bypassed. The heater matrix is situated behind the dashboard and is normally connected to the engine's cooling system through hoses, it transfers heat from the engine to air, which is directed back into the cabin. In order to replace this part the entire dashboard would need to be removed, and this is a huge task which would need to be carried out by an expert. It is a common issue in older motorhomes like this. You can still use the rear habitation heating when driving and this warms up the inside of the vehicle, and to clear the windscreen on colder days there is a 12v blow heater now mounted on the dash.
