This fabulous looking rose grey with impressive genetics, good conformation and a lovely dense fleece is now available. Henna was covered in 2023 by our stunning grey Champion Rivenherd Amos and due a cria Aug this year. We offer a 48hr live cria guarantee or free return for service. She is a sweet and friendly alpaca who is easy to handle.
Henna never fails to disappoint with the quality of her cria. This girl is an absolute star in every way. She is friendly, confident, well balanced and a perfect mother to her cria. She births easily- don’t blink or you might miss it! On one occasion, we saw her disappear behind the field shelter and when we got closer, the cria was on the ground! She has lots of milk and is very protective of her little ones. In Jul 2021 she gave us a gorgeous, big, strong dark rose grey boy, Whistlewood Blue Thunder, who is now an up and coming herdsire. Last year she gave us a stunning rose grey male, Whistlewood Timberwolf who was sired by our black multi-Champion.
After careful thought we have finally decided to let this lovely girl go to pastures new simply because we can’t keep them all! For the last few years visitors to our farm have looked at her and asked, “Is that one for sale?” Finally, she is being offered for sale at a very reasonable price.
This great experienced Mum is being offered at a very reasonable price with NO VAT! She can be sold as a package with one or more of our lovely young females. For those who purchase our girls, we offer greatly discounted services in the future to be covered by any of our stunning males- greys, patterned, appaloosa, blacks, fawns, beige and browns, all with impressive genetics so you are spoiled for choice! We have an amazingly wide gene pool with top bloodlines including Bozedown, Inca and Houghton. Alpacas can live to 20+ years and females usually have cria up to the age of 15 on average.
There are no extra charges- price includes BAS transfer, husbandry course and all the help with can give. I am at the end of the phone if needed.
With excellent quality bloodlines our herdsires, including progeny from our grey and black Champions have been carefully selected to 'produce the goods'. With an amazingly wide gene pool, we can offer breeding stock, companion females, females with cria at foot and fibre producers. We take pride in offering all the support you need regarding future care and welfare, vaccination, shearing etc. Continued support, help and advice is only a phone call away and especially valuable to new and prospective owners.
WHISTLEWOOD ALPACAS are located in the lowest TB area in the country. All our alpacas are microchipped and leave up to date with vaccinations, vitamins and minerals.
