Very sad sale of my boy. Please only serious enquiries. He won’t be going to just anyone. Experienced riders only!
Will has had a bad start to life. He has the battle scars to prove this from his racing career. However he is a gentle giant. Always a yard favourite. He will stand there waiting for head scratches and follow you around the field and stable.
Great in traffic. Doesn’t blink an eye to lorries or tractors. Does however get a bit worried of white lines and speed bumps.
On the flat, Will is still learning. He loves pole work. Trot poles are his favourite. He can work in an outline when relaxed and not distracted by his surroundings. So lots of transitions and changes of rein help focus him, keeping him busy. He can be sensitive to the leg so will need someone who is patient and also soft in the hands.
Over jumps, Will has only started his education since I have had him. He has been enjoying this so far so could possibly compete after more education. He has currently been jumping around 50-60cm fences in combinations and single fences upto 70-80cm.
Lunge work is also another area that he had never done before I had him. I have taught him everything he knows when it comes to this. He listens to voice commands very well and can come in handy in ridden work when needed. However he does tend to fall in as he is still working on his balance.
Good to shoe, handle, worm etc. He is also up to date with vaccinations.
Only 18+ please. He is not a novice ride and I will not be letting him go to just anyone. You will need to be knowledgeable in both ridden work and horse care.
