We have a space for one horse in our shared field and live out herd set up in M29 area of Greater Manchester, just off the A580. It’s a lovely little peaceful space, overlooking a lake, the canal and lots of green belt nature with excellent hacking including pub hacks on doorstep, ideal for someone who is sick of yards and their politics.
We are looking for someone with same ethos as us; barefoot, natural horsemanship, positive reinforcement training style etc to join our ‘field family.’ Currently three friendly and playful geldings that have 24:7 free access to forage, a large shelter, enrichment activities, and rotated paddocks with limited grass.
We are two professional women who currently share the set up with a flexible rota, including all work, so the benefit is if you come on you only need to come 2-3 days per week for day to day care, and any other days at your own leisure. Looking for someone with same values who is easy going, mature minded and friendly. Children welcome to come along with you.
£108-£130 a month (£25-£30 pw) depending on if we keep an additional paddock we currently rent, still undecided, plus we rotate and each buy every fourth large hay bale and chuck in on chaff, balancer and consumables.
