3 year old homebred, bay gelding. Born March 2021 and still has some growing to do. Out of a Welsh rescue mare. Sire believed to be 14.2 Welsh Hill pony. Handled since birth. Halter broken, led out on local roads. Not phased by vehicles, stands well for 6 weekly farrier trims, good to load in a trailer (never tried a lorry).
He's very quiet and will follow you around like a dog. Excellent to catch, groom, etc. Doesn't like loose dogs due to being chased in his field as a foal, by a dog belonging to an irresponsible footpath user who refused to keep dog on a lead!
Likes to take charge in the field with others. Has been kept with mares and geldings but seems quite clingy with mares.
Must have well fenced paddocks as he will walk through or under electric fence if not switched on.
Will definitely make a lovely future teen PC or jumping pony with right rider. Absolutely honest advert. No timewasters or kids please. No stupid offers. His price is a fraction of what it has cost to bring him from birth to 3 years old so please don't insult me.
Please note, this pony is only for sale due to me developing some seriously limiting health issues or I'd be producing him myself. I don't have the health or energy to deal with lots of unrealistic potential buyers so please don't contact unless you have the knowledge to purchase a young pony that is unbroken and have the funds present.
