Arthur is a 14.1hh new forest pony. He is looking for a home that he can either be used as a companion or in light work/ hacking, due to an injury that happened over night in the field. When facing him head on his right knee is now slightly larger due to his injury and how it healed, the vets advised after assessing and x-raying the area that nothing could be done to change this and said he would be able to do light work/hacking. He definitely has a cheeky pony personality, he needs someone who is confident to handle him and is best led in a chiffney as he is a strong boy but never nasty. I would say he would suit an older teenager/ small adult. He is going to be 10 this year on the 1st of May. Before his injury he had been hacked out most of the time and completed the East Kent ride. Since his injury he has been left to heal and within the last year he has only been out a few times so he would need to revise over the basics and take it slow as he is brought back into work if he wasn’t just going to be a companion. I am selling him due to not having any time to give to him. I am now living an adult life and only have the time to care and excerise one and I believe he deserves someone who wants a pony to pamper and do more with him than I have the time too.
