Retirement Livery
1 space available for a retired/companion horses or pony to join my small herd on relaxed, peaceful, private yard where horses can just be horses ?
Full livery near Sawtry
£250 per month for up to 15.3hh (£265 per month for 16hh horse and over)
Small mixed herd for constant equine company
24/7 turn out in summer, on a track or in grass paddock
Out as much as possible in winter on winter meadow, stables available for very poor weather/ground conditions so can come in at night if neeeded and an area of surfaced track and handstanding yard for those that don't stable with lots of hay available.
Hay included in price, feed to be financed by owner.
Twice daily checks/attention, rug changes, feeds as required.
I arrange and hold for vet and farrier.
Horses normally moved loose in groups, never led to paddocks on their own to keep them all happy and calm.
I have knowledge and experience with laminitis prone horses/ponies and can provide a varied, active life for horses with limited grass intake diets (cushings, EMS, weight management/lami prone) on a track system with other horses with similar requirements. Also ideal for older arthritic horses to keep joints moving!
Grass paddocks available for those that can have grass but please know I do not allow horses in my care to be overweight.
Owner visits welcome, but all daily care and chores taken care of.
