Beautiful and friendly Cochin cockerel for rehoming

Due to illness my mum can no longer keep her beautiful cockerel and we need to find him a caring home with a flock of chickens.

Nugget is quite friendly and has never been aggressive (even with chickens). When I first took him from mum he had a case of bumble foot and scaly leg mites. I successfully treated the leg mites with a spot on treatment but unfortunately the bumble foot hasnt been as easy so will still require a bit of TLC.

I would suggest that anyone who takes Nugget should first get him checked out by a poultry vet, just as a precaution because I am not particularly educated about poultry diseases etc and would hate for him to still be infected with something contagious if he moves in with chickens. Read more
