This a preloved extremely rare GT RTS-1 is
beautiful condition, fully functional, well serviced and looked after and for its age in amazing condition. Theres some scrapes on the decals as expected but other than that this bike is a head turner and real collectors item.
I used a Triwonder 25.4 - 31.8mm Bike Stem to ride the bike which brings the handlebars up closer to the riding level, this is because at 5'8 it made it a more comfortable ride, I have replaced all the original components back as pictured and removed this stem.
The RTS-1 debuted in 1992 where cross-country World Champion and World Cup Champion, Juli Furtado got on the bike for the first time ever at the World Championships in Bromont, Canada and won the Downhill World Championship to the astonishment of the entire field of “downhill specialists”.
