Safe, comfortable pony wanted for mature lady. 5ft 2" 11st 5lbs (on a diet!) to enjoy quiet rides a few of times a week in summer, probably not much in winter, so pony must remain sensible if not ridden for a while. No objection to an older pony, up to 20, so long as sound.
No bucking or spinning. Happy with forward going so long as the brakes work. Hack alone and in company. Must be traffic proof. To live out with kind natured New Forest pony. Can be a mare or gelding. Must be happy to stay in field on own whilst companion is out riding.
Lovely dry grazing with a shelter and well maintained, secure fencing.
Very experienced and caring owner/rider who has lost confidence due to cancer treatment. I would like to LWVTB as I want to find the right pony for me and I don't want to become fond of a pony, only for the owner to then take it back.
