This trailer Came with a Manta 19 triple keel sailing boat I bought last year boat but only this week attempted to take the boat of the lake, and to find the boat was too long by about 18” (45cm in modern currency!!!!!!!). Disappointing, but such is life. Consequently trailer now not required.
I would think a similar boat up to 18ft would fit but it is up to you to check.
All steel construction and in good order. I have fitted substantial wooden blocks to distribute the load between keel and bilge keels and these can be easily removed if not needed. Also plastic pipe for guidance only which can also be removed.
Tow coupling, jockey wheel and brakes all work well.
Brand new Kenda tyres fitted last week 145r10 84/82N 8Ply Rating 500KG on 10” mini wheels. Spare included.
New keel roller fitted.
Fully braked and all working properly.
Towed only 50 miles on new tyres this week and is a dream to tow.
The boat weighs in at about 800kg and I would suggest the trailer is about 150/170kg so the combined weight would be no more than 1000kg (1tonne).
The axle and suspension appear to be more than capable of carrying this weight.
