Advert Description
Reluctant sale due to house move, yard sale, downsizing, and my physical health. I’ve owned Romeo since he was two years old. He has had lots of handling from being a foal, He is great to lead, he’s well mannered not strong, he’s good to load, tie up and groom, bath, Farrier, dentist, Vet. I’ve never clipped him. He is happy to be stabled or will live out all year. Last year he was longlined and lightly backed then turned away, this year he’s been brought back into work to continue his education. He has been mouthed and happily accepts a snaffle,. But we don’t use the bit yet as we want to get him firmly established with a halter first. He responds very well to pressure and release and can be ridden in a bitless bridle or dually halter. We haven’t done a great deal with him schooling
wise yet as he is very immature, instead we have concentrated on giving him lots of positive
experiences and groundwork to build his confidence.I'm looking for a home with experience for this special boy. He needs time to grow and mature but will make someone a great family pony due to his temperament
and size. I would also consider a loan for the right person.
He’s up to date with vaccinations, farrier dentist and has had his Wolfe teeth removed.
