ALFIE (BARRAMOOR SNIPS DHP) An adorable, fun loving, tame, ca.10.2hh, ginger & white, genuine Dartmoor Hill Pony yearling colt foal with lovely straight legs, nice markings & eye catching movements. Something about him as he has caught the eyes of some the largest breeders, but rather he finds a kind family home. In time likely to make a 11.2hh kids' pony for lead rein, Pony Club &/or first ridden. Maybe of interest to small pony business, kind show producer, older or disabled person looking for a pet/in-hand show pony.
Microchipped & Passported - DHP passport with photo. Up to date with 1st & 2nd Flue & Tetanus Vaccinations. Wormed. Feet trimmed every six week. Training ongoing but been good for farrier, vet, wormers + jabs. Likes kids & has taken to my autistic son. Comes to us in field/stable & puts his head in the head collar. Can be tied up, brushed, washed & rugged up, etc.
Passed usual isolation/observation period. Was weak & in need of TLC/basics but otherwise fine. Did not see any signs of abuse, sickness, sweet itch, injuries, lameness, laminitis, asthma, sarcoids or other lumps or bumps.
Still pretty much a blank slate so person will be able to put their own stamp on him. Soon he would probably be following them around. If done right, raising a youngster can be such fun - memory making at it's best. If you turn them out & work with them daily, introduce them to lots of things & don't give treats you can get such a good, safe as they come, child/disabled friendly pony.
Re-homing fee is £900 as seen - not for profit.
Not a loan or lease - once approved/payment made in full, pony is yours. Signed receipt given. Also CHEAP COST DELIVERY same or next day. Open to viewing & vetting & honest advise given.
A lovely friendly, fun, unspoiled pony who gives kisses & loves splashing in water. One you can get a sound bond with. Just steals your heart. Someone is going to just love him.
