Fen is based in Keston, Biggin Hill, south east. He is a 13.2 hh Icelandic, very forward at times so not a novice ride, 15 years old, super kind and best friend material, lovely on the ground. My 8 year old daughter handles him and rides him but generally he is not a children's horse because he can be sharp. He loves a hack, happier in company but an experienced rider would do fine alone. I need a rider 1 to 2 days during the week (not weekends) he can do a bit of everything but he's not for you if you want to do show jumping. He'll have the odd jump, he can tolt, he's 4 gaited. He's really off the leg, smoothest canter and good in the school, very responsive. We have an excellent instructor available at the yard. He will have a go at anything. Fen has scored in the low to mid 60s in an intro dressage test.
Never bucked, reared or anything like that. There's no chores, he lives out and there's off road hacking available. Financial contribution is needed at £15 per day to be paid monthly in advance.
