Looking for her new home due to not fitting into the herd well. Had fresh set of front shoes on this morning, barefoot on back, will be wormed this week, teeth done with vets 6 months ago. Previously raced and was used as a broodmare for a while, has just been a happy hacker with myself.
Bad points:
•Bullies the other horses, theres only 3 others with her and they are old so she may do fine in a different, bigger herd or in individual turn out.
•She can be slightly nappy when leaving the yard if with an unconfident rider or not in regular work, currently goes out once a week and it's not an issue.
•She isn't the easiest to load but once on she travels perfectly, we've never really taken her anywhere and don't have our own transport to work on this with her.
Good point:
•She is one of the nicest horses to ride, very easy going. She has a good steady pace, listens well to voice commands, isn't spooky and is good even in the heaviest of traffic.
•She has a lovely personality, always comes when she's called, enjoys being groomed and having a fuss. Does like to snuggle and be around people, she seems to prefer human company over horses.
•Easy to keep for a thoroughbred, has lived out all year with just hay and a handful of mix in winter. Didn't even have her heavy turnout on once this past winter. Puts weight on easily, without any issues.
•Hacks out alone or in company, good with dogs around her, good for the farrier, easy to catch ect.
Unfortunately there is no arena on the yard and straight onto quite busy roads for hacking out but happy for her to be taken out to try. Can come with rugs and tack. Open to offers for a good home and a quick hassle free sale as keeping her any longer isn't fair on the other horses or her.
