Dalton piercy TS27
Friendly little black cob gelding, 14.3hh for full/half loan. Potentially LWITB. Harvey is a great second horse especially for a young adult wanting to have fun!
He’s not overly keen on schooling but will oblige if required and will do nice lessons, he goes very nicely with a competent rider.(riding instructors come to the yard which you can book lessons with)
His favourite thing is hacking out. He also likes to pop over jumps (up to 80), he has even done a little bit of dressage. He can get overwhelmed in stressful situations, has been known to bunny hop on the odd occasion (this has happened when motorbikes come from behind and he gets nervous on hacks) however as a whole is good and does what you ask of him.
NO NOVICES NO UNDER 16's need apply. Harvey is in no way suitable for a novice/straight from a riding school/someone who has taken a long break from horses. He will plod along but does need to be told who is boss as he can be strong. He needs a confident and established rider to get the best out of him and have fun with!
He’s a great opportunity for the right person to have an amazing summer with, as we have hacking at the yard and jumps out in the field, access to an outdoor arena and theres a local indoor down the road too.
Harvey is barefoot, good for the farrier, vet, good to clip but gets sick of you take too long, good for the dentist, physio etc, loads and travels nicely.
