CURIOUS GEORGE is a handsome approx. 10.2hh classic Dartmoor Hill Pony yearling colt est. to make 11.2hh. Under that winter coat hides a stunning classic shiny dark bay, Dartmoor show pony. Dartmoor's/DHP's are renowned for making great kids' show ponies..
George has such a sweet face, mega soft coat, nice movements & thick mane & tail. Should in due course make a lovely 11.2hh kids pony, lead rein pony, Pony Club & First Ridden project.
For someone who wants the experience of bringing on & producing their own show pony. They can get a good bond, lay a good foundation. make sure he gets well handled, introduced to lots of things, used to kids, well trained & treated kindly but not spoiled or abused. When the time comes backing should then be easy & pony hopefully safe & sound as the come.
Microchipped & passported. Seems fit & healthy. Has been through usual isolation/observation period on arrival. Not seen any sign of sickness, lameness, laminitis, sweet itch, asthma, injuries, lumps or bumps etc. Wormed. Had 1st & 2nd Flue & tetanus vaccination & up to date. Feet trimmed every six weeks. Been good for vet & farrier. Used to being tied up & have all four feet picked, brushed, rugged up etc. Taming/training ongoing each day. Well loved but not spoiled & not given treats
The re-homing fee is £900 as seen to the right home. Not for profit. Any money goes back into the project to help other rescue ponies. Once approved & payment received in full & cleared, the pony, passport & signed receipt is yours. If we can't trust you to own it we wont trust you with it at all.
COST PRICE DELIVERY AVAILABLE same or next day. Cheap as no charge for our time, as we do it for the love of it. Person must be kind & committed with suitable place & means to keep the pony.
