Advert Description

We are selling our 8-berth air tent. Purchased in 2016, it has seen us through four summer holidays, with the pandemic having reduced its number of outings. With our children now grown-up, we’re unlikely to be taking any more family camping holidays, so we have decided – reluctantly – to part with it. The footprint groundsheet, full carpet and a remote-controlled electric light are included, as is the wheeled carry bag. It has been stored in a cupboard in a dry shed, and only ever packed dry.
There is plenty of living space, with a huge porch area for storage. The bedroom space can cleverly be reconfigured to provide fewer large spaces, or more smaller ones.
Made of 10,000 mm hydrostatic head polycotton, it provides all the protection of polyester materials whilst also offering superior comfort. Polycotton material allows the tent to breathe, which reduces condensation and helps regulate the temperature keeping the inside of the tent cooler on warm days. We have found it comfortable in both night-time temperatures of 25 Celsius plus in France, and during cold, windy evenings in Pembrokeshire.
As you would expect from a high-spec tent, there are cable access points, a sewn-in groundsheet, and luminous hi-vis guy lines. The large windows allow lots of light into the living space but have blinds for privacy too.
Despite its size the Studland 8 is easy to set up. Simply peg out the four corners, inflate the airframe and then secure the pegging points.
Collection from Winchester. We can arrange for you to see it up if you’re seriously interested.
