Betty is a rising 10 mini cob that sits around 13hh
She is the most loving girl who will always come to you either in a field of other ponies or just on her own. She loves a cuddle and a fuss and will even let you sit with her when she’s laid having a snooze. A real ‘best friend’ type.
Betty has been hunting in her previous home, pulled a cart and generally been a child’s pony. Fun rides, pony club and lots of hacking fun.
With us she’s been both a lead rein pony , taking her round small cross pole courses at our local arena and also a great hacking buddy off lead for both my 11 year old boy and 7 year old daughter. Betty will pretty much try anything you ask of her.
If you’re looking for a low level pony that will be your child’s (and yours) best friend she is a diamond
Betty is still very green in some areas and when taken round show jumps can over jump them when they are small. With a little more schooling I think this would come very quickly. She is actually better at jumping higher jumps (50/60) just no speed machine.
She is fabulous at most things but can be nappy or anxious with new tasks/places. With a little encouragement (a little!) she quickly settles into what you ask of her.
There is zero malice or naughtiness in Betty but she is still learning. Betty’s price will go up with more training over the summer.
Reason for selling : we bought Betty for my son but in 6 months he’s probably ridden her twice and it’s become another pony for my daughter to ride. We have become very fond of her and she is extremely easy to look after (good in all ways, load , clip, farrier) but we just don’t have the riders. She’s a super super girl!
