This is a dark grey 8.1/2" collector bear by The Boyds Collection Ltd.
The label says: The Archives Series FA & OH number 1364.
Most of the photos are taken without the bow so that everything can be seen.
The material feels like an old fashioned woollen texture and is a bit hairy and does attract the odd bit.
It has a brown stitched nose, eyebrows and paw marks on all 4 limbs.
It is a 5 way jointed bear and the 5 joints each have what feels like a hard disc. The eyes are small round and black feel like they are made of glass.
The filling is polyesyer fibres and is quite firm.
The approx. measurements are: the total length stretched out is 8.1/2" (21.5cm), the height when sat is 6" (15cm) & the body roundness is 3.1/2"x3"x2.1/2" (8.75cm x 7.5cm x 6.20cm).
The condition is good and clean.
It's a rather nice plain and simple old fashioned looking bear but very endearing in its own way, it will also travel well.
It dates back to 1999/2000 or there abouts and is more a collector bear.
It is probably not suitable for children under 3 years to play with (or dogs).
It had never bern played with or handled that much.
It has been part of my soft toy collection used as decoration which I am mow downsizing.
It can be collected, it can be posted or I can meet eithin a reasonable distance.
I have other items that I am selling and would be happy to combine and do a deal.
