Tentatively looking for a new loan home for my boy (rising 6yo Welsh section A gelding from the ErwWastad stud)
*Part loan or full loan from current yard- open to moving in the future if the partnership was right*
I have owned him since 5 months old, I backed him and he was ridden away by a petite teen in September of 2022. Following the winter off he was brought back into work in spring 2023
Has been mainly used as lead rein pony and has been out showing since a yearling so absolutely thrives in a competition environment. He has been hacked out by a teenager off lead rein and has proven safe. Can be a little hesitant walking in puddles but will if not given the choice. Have never clipped him so unsure, regularly seen by farrier and dentist. Not an awful lot of schooling experience but feel with an older and competent rider he shouldn’t have any troubles learning the ropes, have free jumped him and he lunges well. A real flashy mover with amazing jumping potential. Sadly has no current rider but in the right home would be a cracking PC or showing pony, always coming home with rosettes
I want someone to enjoy this boy, love him like their own and give him a job! He is Welsh and can typically be cheeky- due to not being handled much lately he has reverted to some babyish ways like nibbling, I always feed treats from a bucket never by hand. Comes to call in the field, walks himself on the trailer, his main quirk is he likes to paw the ground when tied up but stops when he is told off.
This boy is my pride and joy but is sadly being wasted in the field and has such potential in the right hands. Happy to part or full loan from our current yard in Frampton Cotterell (where I keep my other horses) with the potential to move within 1hr of Bristol in the future if the partnership was right. Up to date with vaccinations and worming and potential loaner is to keep this going please ??
