Yamaha U1 Upright Piano - 1971, made in Japan

Yamaha U1 upright piano, manufactured in 1971. One owner before me, regularly tuned and played (which is good!). It is in excellent condition, well loved and looked after. It has the original Japanese tuning schedule tucked inside the lid (which is very cool).

Big, rich, bass notes and bright tone - great for pop. A solid piano for a learner who is getting serious and a most excellent all round studio piano. We used the U1 and vintage 70’s mics to record my album DARK NATURE.

Yamaha U series hold their price really well, so it’s a desirable piano to trade in at dealerships when you want to upgrade. Read more
