16/16.1hh French trotter gelding he has just had his 10th birthday. Riley is good to do in all ways he will coming trotting up to you in the field when being called good to pick his feet up, good for the vet, farrier dentist etc. he hacks out alone and in company will go in front or behind, I have found he’s better in company but that may be because I’m a very nervous rider and I feel more confident when someone is there. I’d say he does get a lot of confidence from his rider like I said I’m a very nervous rider and he does sometimes pick up on that he’s never bolted bucked or reared with me. He doesn’t like his ears been messed with. An 8 year old has ridden him out and he was spot on and truly does look after his rider. He can be left in the field for weeks then just hop on him and he’s brilliant. Has previously raced and had a very successful career since then he’s been re schooled and done a bit of everything.
