2 Wonderful male donkeys for sale.
Harris and Freddie are wonderful, friendly donkeys who are happy to be ridden, petted or just left in a field (with a shelter). They are very calm, are easy to catch and deal with - they have seen the dentist and the farrier amongst others. They have been to a wide range of places bringing joy and happiness to children and adults in care homes, schools, weddings and a wide range of events. They travel well in a trailer, we have two types and they are happy in either. In an ifor Williams style horse trailer we take out the partitions and put a brest bar across the front. They load well and are no trouble. If required we can deliver them for the cost of fuel.
They are well used to meeting people and they have tack available with them which can be purchased by separate negotiation.
They are between 9-11 years old and are easy to catch and handle.
They have been wormed regularly, had their feet trimmed (every 6 weeks) and they are used to sheep, goats and horses.
They are castrated and love to play - they have been used as part of a mobile farm business but I am now moving in a new direction and these boys are happy to work! They have never been worked regularly with us as we are more in to education and we are not wanting a home where they will be doing rides often. Their new home is very important to us, they are amazing animals who deserve to be well looked after.
