Advert Description

We have available a selection of Booted Bantam (aka Sabelpoot) pullets
All this year's hatches.
Various colours available.

Booteds are a true Bantam, with a very friendly nature and a great character. Their small size and ease of handling (once they're used to you) making them ideal for children. They will become very tame. They will lay between 140-180 eggs per year and their feathered feet mean they do less damage around your garden than clean legged breeds
Booteds will continue to lay for many years, we have some some seven year old hens still laying, and a cockerel of the same age still filling eggs.

We are founder members of the Booted Bantam Society UK, sit on the committee and Stu is the current Chairman of the Society and PCGB qualified judge of the breed
As such all our birds are bred to the highest possible standard.

We have been very successful on the show bench and although there have been no shows for the last few years, we are still looking to improve the quality of our stock each year with careful selection of our breeding stock and have done well at the 'virtual photo shows' held online.including Reserve Champion Booted at this year's Virtual Poultry Photo Show.
