14’2hh 4 year old Welsh x cob mare (not recorded breeding) looking for a loving home. We have owned her since a 2 year old but unfortunately she is slightly too small for me and my partner to share together.
She would be a lovely safe summer project for a mother/daughter share. She is easy to handle and loves attention and fuss.
I have backed her myself and done walk and trot around our fields at home but we have no facilities to do much more. She had also been lunged in the field over some barrels and shows confidence and scope. She has been very easy to back and has never done anything naughty/nasty except be a little nappy towards her field friend but this is typical of a young horse. She is good with all farm animals and has lived out with the cows over winter.
I haven’t cantered her under saddle or jumped her under saddle due to her age but with a lighter/smaller rider she will thrive.
She has had the dentist, farrier, physio and is up to date with all jabs. She lives out 24/7 and is barefoot
She is a really lovely mare and this is a very sad sale. No loans/trials. Price not including tack or rugs but may have a few rugs to sell if needed.
