an antique item in excellent condition for age

now I'm no expert in this field so you are going to have to use
your own expertise to determine weather or not this is an item you would like to purchase.
I can tell you it is in excellent condition for its age which from my research dates back to 1840 or there about.
can also tell you from research it is boxwood with brass fittings.
i can also tell you it is Stamped D'Almaine & Co Late Goulding & D'Almaine Soho Square London,
further stamped D'Almaine & co on the lower joints.
as i say i am no expert and will not pretend this may need some restoration work
or may not, that is up to you to decide, i think the price will
reflect this in some way.
my research has seen this instrument in much worse state than mine
and selling for much more
over all i give this item a 8
