Raw Unwashed Sheep's Fleece from our flock of Shetland sheep.
We have white, black, moorit, grey, patterned fleeces available.
This will be Split into 1 kg bundles, but if you want a full fleece let me know and I will see how much it weighs.

About the shearing process
Our sheep are all sheared by hand, on our family farm by ourselves, to minimise the stress to the animal. Shearing is a very important process that helps the sheep by removing last year's wool growth and ensuring that the sheep does not get too hot which can lead iIllness.
We have a mixture of rooed fleeces (naturally loosen and are peeled off)
Or manual sheared fleeces using hand shears.
The Shetland breed is native to the UK.
The fleece is very versatile and suitable for a number of crafting uses such as:
*Spinning
*Felting
*Weaving
